I do not own the song.

So, I just compiled the last bit of the song “Can you feel the love tonight?” in various languages.

I am sorry that if I translated wrong in some of the versions. I just put down what some translators said. On that note, the translation may seem weird in english but will make sense in the other.

*** I noticed that I messed up on the Croatian version by putting “carries” twice, it should say, “and carry the two souls.” or something like that.

I noticed that unlike many Disney songs, this one had no English translation of the European Spanish version (at least that I could find), so I thought that with my 6 years of Spanish I could do it myself. It was not very challenging, but I did keep my dictionary in hand and there are some things I am not sure of. Certain translations are exact, while other parts are altered only slightly so that it will flow in English. So here are some translation notes to keep in mind.

—The word for judging as used in this song is in the sense of judging on trial or observing for fault.

— I translated “verjas” as simply “fences” to keep with the original version of the song, but I think it translates more specifically to an iron grate.

—”Fuerza” is translated as “strength” in the video, but it also translates to “force”. I think the way it is used here may be meant to suggest a forcefulness or a recklessness that a “house dog” doesn’t have.

IRRELEVANT INFORMATION! There’s a comma in there that bothers me. It doesn’t belong there, but it is there because I revised that line and it belonged there with what I originally had written. Oh well… That is such a small thing that there’s really no point in fixing it. I will just have to suck it up and stop being a grammar nazi for once.
