Tim Sheehan, a reporter with The Fresno Bee newspaper in Fresno, CA, traveled to Spain in November 2011 to report on that nation’s system of high-speed trains. Sheehan covers California’s efforts to build a high-speed rail system between Los Angeles and San Francisco. His 10-day reporting trip to Spain was a joint project of The Bee, California Watch and a consortium of 10 other California news organizations. See the special-report package at www.fresnobee.com/1301.
