This is “Reflection”, in Latin Spanish, with subtitles and an English translation. Thanks to Kovu for the help editing my translation!
Vocabulario/Vocabulary
Nunca- Never
Cuándo- When
Ahora- Now
Quién- Who
[El] Reflejo- [The] Reflection
[La] novia- [The] Girlfriend, Fianceé, Bride
[La] hija- [The] daughter
Verbos/Verbs
Poder- To be able to
~~~~~~~~~~
[Yo] puedo- I can
[Tu] puedes- You can [informal]
[El, Ella] {Usted} puede- He/she can, you can {formal}
[Nosotros, -as] podemos- We can
[Vosotros,-as] podeís- You all can [EUROPE ONLY]
[Ellos, Ellas] {Ustedes} pueden- They can, you all can {Formal}
Special Note: “Poder” is a stem-changing verb. That means special spelling changes occur in all forms except the “Nosotros” and “Vosotros” forms.
While this is NOT the European version I included the European conjugation “Vosotros”, so you could know it. Instead of “Vosotros” in Mexico and Latin America, the second person plural is used, which is “Ustedes”.
ha, sorry i find the confusing part, when i first read the sidbar i thought the user was saying that “usted” was 3rd person, but the conjugation is the same as in 3rd person, sorry if i confused you, it’s just that a native speaker doesn’t really analyse his own language
Sorry if I am just picking this up wrong, but your comment confuses me. I am learning Castillano in school, and we are taught that “usted” and “ustedes” are formed using the *third* person singluar and plural of the verbs.
Perhaps they use it your way in another spanish speaking country, but from my point of view, I am really confused. I know that the language varies from country to country.
something else, you should know that there are some errors on the translation, and from the sidebar, vosotros and ustedes aren’t 3rd person, they’re 2nd person,
1st singular “Yo” (I)
1st plural “Nosotros”(We)
2nd singular “Tú”, “Vos” or “Usted” depends on the country (You)
2nd plural “Ustedes” or “Vosotros” (You)
3rd singular “Él or Ella” (He, She and It)
3rd plural “Ellos” (They)
You should be proud that Spanish is your native tongue
I wish it was my first language sometimes.. but then again, I´d rather not learn English as a second language x) It´s a bit more irregular and kinda ugly compared to languages like español
Honestamente, pienso que son bellisimas. Son estos clasicos los que de verdad enamoran a uno y nos motivan a ver estas peliculas una y otra vez, generacion tras generacion.
English, as I’m sure other languages as well, sound beautiful too. Still, I’m familiar with my native tongue and I’m proud of it. XD
