Poor Unfortunate Souls European Spanish Subs + Translation Castilian
The Little Mermaid
O and i am sorry at 1.57 it is supposed to say Durante tres dia( For three days)
oops and another at 4:24 Ya está bajo control (Already it’s under control)
Duration : 0:5:44
There was one …
There was one mistake that I caught in your translation, though it is a huge one. At 2:04, she says Antes de que se pogan el sol el tercer día,” and translated it as “After the sun sets on the third day,” when it should have been “Before the sun sets on the third day.”
A tradução pro …
A tradução pro espanhol europeu é uma das melhores dessa cena! Muito bom!
I’m sorry but i …
I’m sorry but i just caught a huge mistake which there are a lot of…at 4:05 “No me queda mucho tiempo” means” I do not have much time”. You put in English, “For me not a lot of time remains” and translated into Spanish that would be, “Para mí no mucho tiempo se mantiene.”
sin pa! sin lu!
sin pa! sin lu!
Since pobre is …
Since pobre is before alma…doesn’t the meaning change from poor to unfortunate?
Well, some people …
Well, some people actually do talk that way.
Freeze it at 5:19 …
Freeze it at 5:19 and Ursula looks shocked – like she can’t believe her plans are finally coming to pass!
oooh I Love this …
oooh I Love this language. This is the most beautiful of all. I’m hungarian and I want to learn spanish <333333
I’m spanish and I …
I’m spanish and I think it’s great that u can do that while u are still learning. Check it coz there are many mistakes while ursula is talking, not while singing.
Keep on with it!
Your translations …
Your translations are correct, but it seems to me your using a word for word translation and not the actual translation…Example: Where Ursula says “A eso me dedico” that would translate in English to “I dedicate myself to this.” Someone in English would not say “To this I dedicate myself.” You have this problem throughout the video…Just a helpful hint.
i can help you
i can help you
so you should …
so you should probably know for a FACT what you are listening to and what it means, also, a spanish teacher or even an on-line translator would be useful. It is DURAS by the way, not TODAS.
So that was just an advice =D, hope you are well =)
please don’t get …
please don’t get mad at me, I’m only trying to help: you have a lot of mistakes and they’re not just typing mistakes as one would assume if you just had a few. They were a LOT but I really find it strange because you translated them correctly. A clear example would be: converter en humana; it´s convertir or convierto and convertirte. A lot of people seem to be using this to learn spanish a little and you give them the wrong impression they will have serious problems in the future.
Okay, makes sense, …
Okay, makes sense, thanks.
Sorry for my mistake
It can be! In this …
It can be! In this video the word used is ‘lengua’, presumably because ‘idioma’ only really applies to a spoken language, whereas the characters are talking here of body language.
Language is idioma …
Language is idioma i thought
Thank you so much!! …
Thank you so much!!! I’m trying to learn spanish like many others here, and these are great!!! I have noticed that the Spain Spanish is usally better. Here, they change “poor unfortunate souls” to “souls without sun”, and it keeps the melody, where as the Latin spanish translates it exactly, and it doesnt work. They did that w/ “Prince Ali” too, and “Principe Ali” just doesnt sound as good as “Gran Ali”.
Muy bien hecho. …
Muy bien hecho. Gracias por el video. Me alegra que quereis aprender nuestro idioma.
this is way better …
this is way better than the Latin Spanish version. :-/ which is sad ’cause I usually like the Latin ones better.
Oh and ‘language’ …
Oh and ‘language’ is ‘lengua’ (lke tongue) at 3.35!
I am learning …
I am learning Spanish and your videos are really useful! A couple of mistakes I noticed: at 2.06 ‘pogan’ ought to be ‘ponga’ from ‘poner’ (I think) and you missed the ‘e’ out of ’siempre’ at around 2.28.
thats okay~!
thats okay~!
but thank you for …
but thank you for your input it is much appeciated!
humm i am not sure …
humm i am not sure lol i am not a native speaker. Todas is just how it sounded to me

Such a gr8 vid~~~! love it…but i have a little question about the translation…
